About this colour
A rich, jewel-toned purple formulated with Quinacridone Violet (PV19) and Ultramarine Blue (PB29) - two of the finest transparent pigments available. The result is a luminous, deep violet-purple that glows with genuine inner light, avoiding the dull, flat quality of cheaper purple pigments.
The quinacridone base gives this purple exceptional clarity and warmth, while the ultramarine contribution adds depth and a hint of blue shadow. Together they create a purple that reads as simultaneously rich and transparent - ideal for shadow glazing, violet florals, twilight skies, and the deep tones of gemstones and rich fabrics.

Why choose tubes?
Watercolour tubes contain more glycerine binder than pans, giving the paint a soft, creamy texture that mixes instantly with water. A small amount from the tube goes a very long way - making tubes ideal for large washes and expressive, generous brushwork.
Leave it to dry - reactivate anytime
Squeeze out what you need and leave the rest on your palette. When the paint dries, simply mist with a little water and it reactivates fully - as workable as when it was first squeezed. No cleaning needed between sessions, and nothing is ever wasted.
Refill your pans
