About this colour
Phthalo Green is one of the most powerful and versatile pigments available to watercolourists - a deeply transparent, intensely chromatic blue-green of synthetic origin. Phthalocyanine Green (PG7) is a modern organic pigment with extraordinary tinting strength, meaning a tiny amount dramatically transforms any mixture.
At full strength it produces a rich, jewel-like blue-green reminiscent of deep ocean water or dark forest canopy. Diluted, it opens into brilliant, luminous teals. Mixed with yellows, it creates a full spectrum of natural greens; with blacks and blues, it yields deep, atmospheric darks.

Why choose tubes?
Watercolour tubes contain more glycerine binder than pans, giving the paint a soft, creamy texture that mixes instantly with water. A small amount from the tube goes a very long way - making tubes ideal for large washes and expressive, generous brushwork.
Leave it to dry - reactivate anytime
Squeeze out what you need and leave the rest on your palette. When the paint dries, simply mist with a little water and it reactivates fully - as workable as when it was first squeezed. No cleaning needed between sessions, and nothing is ever wasted.
