Compose Green is a rich, balanced green - neither too warm nor too cold - designed to serve as a versatile, ready-mixed foliage green that performs beautifully straight from the tube. It is a vibrant, transparent mid-green with excellent tinting strength and clean mixing behaviour.
It is the ideal starting point for any landscape palette - capable of representing natural foliage accurately without the extreme intensity of a pure Phthalo Green. Compose Green dilutes to fresh, airy tints and deepens to rich, full tones, giving the artist a wide tonal range from a single tube.

Why choose tubes?
Watercolour tubes contain more glycerine binder than pans, giving the paint a soft, creamy texture that mixes instantly with water. A small amount from the tube goes a very long way - making tubes ideal for large washes and expressive, generous brushwork.
Leave it to dry - reactivate anytime
Squeeze out what you need and leave the rest on your palette. When the paint dries, simply mist with a little water and it reactivates fully - as workable as when it was first squeezed. No cleaning needed between sessions, and nothing is ever wasted.
Refill your pans
